After getting up at 4am on Monday in France I landed in Cleveland around 6:40pm on Monday. Time is a very odd thing, but 10 hours on a plane is really long with home is waiting on the other end.
My whole family was at the airport waiting for me with a sign, and the reunion was so good.

There were several things that stuck out to me the most upon arriving at my house. Firstly, the smell of home and of the country rather than the seaside. It all smells warm and safe. Secondly, the light switches are different in France, so getting used to the ones here again was funny. Along the same lines, at the institute you flushed the toilet by pushing a button down that is on top of the toilet, so I reached for that at first. It's these kinds of thing that you don't think about about, but I found them amusing.
Brenden and I took a walk and then looked at his school schedule for the fall to end the day, and I went to bed--the sheets are so soft!-- very tired, but very happy.
Thank you all for you prayers and for reading about my adventures!
